How do I reset my ilumi and remove from a group?

 

To reset an individual bulb:

  1. In the app, tap and hold on any of the group names to bring up the "Edit Groups" screen.
  2. Tap the left arrow next to the group name to expand the group and find the ilumi that is not responding.
  3. Tap the red circle with the minus sign (-) next to the ilumi you wish to reset. This will "delete" the ilumi from the group.
  4. Tap "Delete," and you will see the message "Are You Sure? If you delete ilumi ____, it will be reset and all settings will be removed."
  5. Tap the green "Delete" button to confirm, and the app will remove the connection with the ilumi Smartbulb.
  6. Manually Reset the ilumi Smartbulb - Turn the manual switch on/off five times. When the bulb is reset, it will begin to turn a series of colors, and then finally, will turn a bright white.

  5. Manually Reset the ilumi Smartbulb - Turn the manual switch on/off five times. When the bulb is reset, it will begin to turn a series of colors, and then finally, will turn a bright white. 

To go back to the main "Groups" screen, tap the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen.

 

Did you receive a "Reset Error" message?

You may have received a "Reset Error" message like this:

  1. Verify that the ilumi is turned on, and click "Retry." If you receive this error message again, or would like to skip the "retry" step, tap "Cancel."
  2. You'll receive this message, "Delete from App?."
  3. Tap "Remove" to remove the ilumi/group from the app. Please note that you will need to perform a Manual Reset of the ilumi in order to pair with the app again.

 

How do I manually reset my ilumi?

 

NoteIf the manual switch is not in the "on" position, the app may continue to search for the ilumi, displaying the connection screen "spinner". Close the app, toggle Bluetooth off/on, and then reopen the app to repeat the removal process above.
