The Circadian Experience replicates the sun’s natural light cycle to tune your body’s natural daily rhythm. Just turn it on and your Smartbulb will gradually transition your light throughout the day from cool energetic white light to sharpen your mind in the morning to a soft and relaxing warm glow in the evening to sleep better.

And it works even if you turn your lights on with your wall switch.

How Do I Activate This Feature?

  1. Tap the menu button and then "Experiences".
  2. Tap the plus sign (+) in the top right hand corner of the screen to "Create a New Experience". 
  3. Select "Circadian" from the Create New Experience view.
  4. Proceed with selecting the ilumi you'd like to include in your custom Circadian experience.
  5. Tap the toggle in the top right corner of the app screen to turn the experience "on". The toggle will be in the far right position when turned on.



Circadian Experience Options:

  1. Select ilumi - Select the groups or individual ilumi to which you'd like to add the Circadian experience

Please Note: The Circadian experience overrides your selected default color. To set your own custom default color, disable the Circadian experience by tapping the toggle button in the top right corner to turn the experience "off". What Should I Expect When Using This Feature?

With Circadian active, whether you turn your lights on through the app or from a light switch, the light from your ilumi will change based on the time of day. In the morning, you'll experience blue-tinted white light and throughout the day the light will gradually warm up to a deep orange.

The logic behind the Circadian experience is that cooler "shorter wavelength" light in the morning may help wake you up, while the warmer light (or light without blue) may help your body's natural production of Melatonin so you can relax and sleep better.
